Are you interested in writing for the BBC? Top BBC talent-spotters will be at a special EIFF event to field questions and outline opportunities at the corporation.

Q&A: Writing for the BBC is a new addition to the EIFF line-up. The event is designed to give those interested advice on opportunities with  BBC Scotland's Drama Department. In attendance will be Kate Rowland, the Creative Director for New Writing, and a variety of panellists from BBC Scotland. Aspiring writers should also check out the Writers Room online, which has been established to identify and champion new writing.

Q&A: Writing for the BBC is free and will take place at 14:00 on 15th August at the Filmhouse. You can book a ticket in person or over the phone.
