Audience Awards Volunteers (15 posts)
This position is being shortlisted or has been filled, and is therefore not open for applications.
2 weeks including June Festival period plus training, 15 full-time posts.
Audience Awards volunteers assist with the public screening of all films eligible for the prestigious Audience Award. The role involves handing out, collecting and counting voting slips, and you may be asked to say a few (scripted) words at the start of the screening to introduce the Award and explain the voting process.
You'll be a welcoming face of the Festival, provide excellent customer service and have the concentration to accurately count votes after a late night film screening.
Eligible films may be screened from Wednesday 18 and until Friday 27 June. Whilst there are occasional afternoon screenings most shifts will start after 5pm and some will finish after midnight.
You will also be available to help with EIFF’s major events during the Festival such as our Opening Night, Closing and other Gala premieres and parties.
Please see the EIFF Recruitment Policy in the introduction section for further information on EIFF Volunteers
