After graduating from university in Sweden in 1999, Erik Bostedt ventured into feature filmmaking as a production assistant. To make a living he then worked as a business consultant and project manager in New York City, Stockholm and Paris. He returned to full time filmmaking as a student at the London Film School in 2007.

Capturing Space is his debut festival release as a director. He is currently in pre-production
as the writer and director of a fiction short, set in London. He graduates from the MA Filmmaking Programme in December 2009.
