Industry at EIFF

Edinburgh International Film Festival annually offers an inspiring and innovative programme of events and opportunities for our Industry and filmmaker audiences, running in complement to our diverse and exciting film programme.

Every year the Festival welcomes over 1200 industry delegates and filmmakers, offering them a fantastic programme of industry events and networking opportunities. We provide a full programme of Press & Industry screenings running alongside the public film screenings and also offer a Videotheque where passholders can access private viewing booths for films they might have missed at the Festival.

2017 sees the second year of our UK Works in Progress showcasing some of the best UK features in production or post production. The call for projects to submit to the 2017 event is currently OPEN.

Our Distribution Rewired event, in addition to a number of events lookings at all models of distribution, offers a marketplace for films seeking alternative avenues for the distribution of their films. The call for projects to take place in this year's Distirbution Rewired Marketplace is now OPEN.

The Industry office provides contacts and information on all titles without UK sales or distribution and facilitates meetings with filmmakers in attendance.

Industry Registration for EIFF 2017 will open on Thursday 13 April.

Talent Development
Our Talent Lab for emerging writers, directors and producers continues to support the best up-and-coming talent and alumni filmmakers have gone on to forge successful careers in the Industry.
