Film UK Guide to British Film
The Film UK Guide to British Film publishes in-depth information on all British fiction feature and short films completed in the last year, making the Guide an indispensable resource for anyone interested in British film. It is available each year to Festival delegates, other international film festivals, film organisations and industry professionals.
Film UK has been the label applied to the Edinburgh International Film Festival's work in showcasing British filmmaking talent and signposting new productions to international buyers and talent spotters. Film UK is not curated and is not a section of the offical programme of the Festival. Inclusion in the Film UK Guide to British Film does not imply that a film has been selected for the Festival, but British films selected for the Festival programme may also appear in the Guide. EIFF is a networking focus for the national and international filmmaking communities and offers the annual Guide to British Film and the Film UK section of its Videotheque as special services to the industry. No other organisation provides this kind of service for British film.
You will be able to download a registration form for including your film in the 2009 Film UK Guide to British Film here early in 2009. Films will be eligible if they are British fiction features or live action short films produced since June 2008.
Past editions of the Guide to British Film can be downloaded here.
