Night Flight: an abandoned gay bar in downtown Seoul. A refuge. Two boys silhouetted as they are bathed in sunlight.

The struggles facing youths in contemporary South Korea are explored through the poetic and sensitive story of rebel Gi-woong and closeted Yong-ju, two old school friends united after being ostracised by their peer group. Director Leesong Hee-il's beautiful epic deftly uses this intimate story to explore homophobia and life as a minority within a culture driven to achieve. [18]
