La última película
Alex Ross Perry, Gabino Rodríguez, Iazua Larios, René Redzepi / Experimental / English, Spanish
A wild ride to cinematic oblivion. As the Mayan apocalypse approaches, an egomaniacal young director (Alex Ross Perry, The Color Wheel) journeys from the United States to the Yucatán to make preparations for what will supposedly be the last movie to be shot on celluloid. Drawing inspiration from Dennis Hopper's drug-soaked 1971 The Last Movie, this zany experimental satire pays tribute to the vanishing medium of film, whilst exploring the contradictions of cultural tourism and the meaning and the threat of apocalypse.
