International Animation: Narrative

  • 71 mins

Short stories from around the world, created one frame at a time.

A wonderful sampler of the diversity of the animated art form can be enjoyed through this engaging programme of short films. The opening film is a collaborative work from some of Canada’s finest independent animators, under the collective title ‘Anijam’. It’s an appropriate word to cover this contrasting presentation of techniques that animation artists invent to convey their ideas and narratives, which can simultaneously be personal and universal.
