EIFF Youth is committed to programming a diverse selection of screenings and events for young audiences interested in filmmaking and the moving image industries.

Youth Advisory Group participants will curate the EIFF New Visions Competition – open to all young filmmakers in Scotland. Shortlisted films will be screened at EIFF, with the Youth Advisory Group closely involved with the screenings and award ceremonies. Acting as figureheads for EIFF Youth strand, group members will also get the opportunity to co-host events at the festival.

Youth Advisory Group will meet at Filmhouse in Edinburgh regularly from May to August 2022 (with a break in June).  Participants will gain access to several EIFF events and may be asked to get involved in promoting the EIFF New Visions Film Competition.

* Travel expenses will be reimbursed for participants outside of Edinburgh City.

We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination. We encourage and welcome applications from young people from all backgrounds*
