Each year, Edinburgh International Film Festival welcomes up to 400 media representatives from all over the world. The EIFF Press Office will be located in the Delegate Centre at the Traverse Theatre. The Press team will assist you in finding your way through the festival and handle any interview requests.

EIFF press accreditation includes:

If you have been accredited, you can collect your press pass from the EIFF Registration desk at the Traverse Theatre, 10 Cambridge Street, EH1 2ED, just across the road from the Filmhouse.

- 08:30 - 16:00 Tuesday 20 June
- 08:30 - 18:00 Wednesday 21 June to Friday 30 June
- 08:30 - 16:00 Saturday 01 July
- 10:00 - 16:00 Sunday 02 July
The Videotheque, situated on Chuckie Pend, the lane at the back of the Filmhouse, will be open from:

The Festival’s public programme will be available on this site from 31 May.
Press and Industry screenings start two days ahead of the public screenings. The Press and Industry screenings schedule will be on the EIFF website. The screening schedule is subject to change, so please refer daily to the website or the Information board in the Industry Centre. Tickets for some public screenings are made available for passholders when there are no Press and Industry screenings (subject to Pass Type).
The Opening film screening of the Festival is not covered by the pass system. To attend it (tickets subject to availability), please email email@example.com with Opening Film - Press in the subject line or visit the Press Office.
An EIFF Talent Contacts Grid will be available on the Press section of our website where press can find the relevant contacts to set up interviews, but if you have any further enquiries please email our Press Agency at firstname.lastname@example.org
EIFF welcomes applications from bloggers, however we will evaluate your blog's readership/followers before allocating you a pass.
Normally we accept no more than three accreditation requests per company (excluding crew members). However, we will evaluate each request on a case by case basis.
