Q: What is the deadline for Earlybird Industry registration?
A: Earlybird registration runs until 31 May.
Q: What is the deadline for registering online as Industry?
A: You may register online throughout the Festival however, we would advise you to register before Friday 14 June otherwise you may experience processing delays when collecting your pass.
Q: What is the deadline for registering online if I have a film in the programme?
A: The online registration deadlines for filmmakers who have a film in the programme are Monday 13 May (for feature films) or Monday 20 May (for short films). If for any reason you are not able to register online by these dates please inform your Guest Services Contact as soon as possible.
Q: Can the same email address be used for more than one login?
A: No. Email addresses can only be linked to one person's account. If you are trying to register several people you will need a separate email address for each person. The email needs to be valid and accessible as the registration process will require the registered account holder to login through an emailed link.
Q: What is the Attenders list and when will it be online?
A: The Attenders List is a list of accredited Industry and filmmakers from the programme who have registered to attend EIFF and will be updated on a regular basis. To access the list, you will need to sign in to the Industry area of the website and go to Resources. If you do not wish you be included on the Attendders list you will need to opt out on your registration form.
Q: Why does EIFF need a photo of me?
A: We require your photo in order to create your EIFF pass. Please note that you won't be able to access the Festival as an accredited passholder without a photo. If you have any issues uploading your photo you can also send it as a passport-style jpg image to email@example.com
Q: When and where can I pick up my pass?
On the day you arrive, bring a print-out of your confirmation email or letter to the Registration desk in the Traverse Theatre at 10 Cambridge Street, EH1 2ED, just across the road from Filmhouse. This is where you can collect your pass and full information the Festival.

Q: How do I access Press and Industry Screenings?
Press & Industry screenings can be accessed with your EIFF pass on a first come, first serve basis. We advise arriving early to screenings to ensure that you are able to get a seat. All Press and Industry screenings are listed on the Industry section of this website – this is always the best place to keep up to date with any late changes.
To find these lists you must log in to your account and go to the Industry Resources page.
Q: As accredited Industry, will my pass automatically give me access to the Opening and Closing parties?
A: Unfortunately not. We have a very limited allocation of Industry tickets for these. Available tickets may be applied for and will be allocated on a 'first out the hat' selection basis.
Q: How do I get tickets for the Opening/Closing Night films/parties?
A: If you are an Industry passholder please send your ticket request to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your name will be entered on a waiting list and tickets allocated on a random selection basis. You will be informed of whether we have been able to allocate you a ticket at least 24 hours before the event.
If you have a film in the programme, please speak to your Guest Services contact with regards access to Opening and Closing night parties.
Q: When will the Industry Events programme be announced?
A: Industry programming will start to be announced in late May. Check the Industry pages of this site for the latest details. You will be given an Industry Guide including a full list of events, with your festival bag when you pick up your accreditation.
Q: Is the EIFF Industry Centre wheelchair accessible?
A: The venue is fully accessible, for further details please contact email@example.com
Q: Will there be any computer or internet provision at the Festival?
A: The EIFF Industry Centre will have free public Wi-Fi access throughout the building.
Q: Are there any meeting spaces available?
A: There are plenty of quiet seating areas in the Industry Centre to arrange informal meetings.
Q: Where is a good place to stay during the Festival?
A: We’d recommend staying in the old town or around Haymarket, both of which are near to Filmhouse and the EIFF Industry Centre. For a list of recommended accommodation, please check the Industry Resources section of the website for our handy list.
If you have a film in the programme your Guest Services contact will be able to advise on accommodation options near our partner cinemas.
Q: What do I do if I'm having problems with my login?
A: If you have booked a ticket or registered to attend EIFF or Filmhouse since 2017, you will likely already have an account linked to your email address. In this case, before being able to continue with the accreditation process you will be prompted to login using your email address and password. If you can't remember your password please follow the instructions to request a new one.
Please note that an email address can only be linked to ONE person. If you are trying to accredit several people on behalf of the same film or organisation you will need to provide a different separate email address for each of them.
