Director Bio

Daniel Jerome Gill has been working in the Film & TV industry for the past 15 years, starting out as an Assistant Director on numerous productions, such as Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, Game Of Thrones and The Crown. In 2009, he completed Modern Life Is Rubbish, his first short film. The film was screened at over 35 film festivals across the world.

With this witty and thoroughly engaging rom-com, director Daniel Jerome Gill’s debut film charts the relationship between Liam (Josh Whitehouse) and Natalie (Freya Mavor). Initially drawn together by their shared love for music, ten years later they are struggling to see what they saw in each other. As they start to split their music library, the soundtrack of their relationship keeps on pulling them back together. A real warm-hearted charmer of a film nicely adapted by Philip Gawthorne from his award-winning play.
