How to register as a Festival delegate

  1. Are you a student or professional working in film or media? See either the STUDENT or INDUSTRY pass information below.
  2. How long will you be at the Festival? We have the options of individual day passes, half festival and full festival passes.
  3. Want to save money on your delegate pass? Register before 16 May to receive our Early Bird pass discounts.
  4. Delegate registration fees are listed below by pass length.
  5. If you are not able to register in advance, come to the Delegate Centre in the Traverse Theatre when you arrive in Edinburgh and register in person at the Registration desk. We will only be able to accept payment by credit or debit card. There is no need to bring a photo, we will take one for you.
  6. The Industry delegate registration desk will be open from:
  • 10:00 - 16:00 on Monday 16 June
  • 08:30 - 16:00 on Tuesday 17 June
  • 08:30 - 18:00 from Wednesday 18 - Friday 27 June
  • 08:30 - 16:00 on Saturday 28 June
  • 10.00 - 16.00 on Sunday 29 June

Please note

  • The Festival’s public programme will be available on this site from the programme launch date.
  • Press and Industry screenings start two days ahead of the public screenings. The Press and Industry screenings schedule will be available for registered delegates to download in the delegates section of the website. The screening schedule is is subject to change, so please refer daily to the website or the Information board in the Delegate Centre. Tickets for some public screenings are made available for delegates based on a first come first serve basis. Full details on ticket access will be provided in your delegate packs.
  • Tickets for the Opening and Closing films of the Festival are not covered by the pass system. We have a small number of tickets for delegates available for these events. To apply for these tickets please email delegates@edfilmfest.org.uk with Opening Film or Closing Film in the subject line. You will be informed by email whether your application has been successful the day prior to the event.

Offers access to Industry screenings, events, networking and professional services.
INDUSTRY PASS holders receive:

STUDENT PASS

For students of film or media in the UK or oversees.
You must bring a valid form of student identification with you when you collect your pass.
Offers great value access to Industry screenings, events and networking opportunities.

Online registration is open until 16 June. Registration after that point is in person only and at the discretion of EIFF.
