Adelelmo Jiménez, Carlota Rodriguez, Alfredo Llamas Herrera, Jesus Sernas / Fiction / Spanish

An elderly couple, surrounded by the past, wait for death.

The daily routine of an aged couple living in a rugged coastal region of western Mexico. The husband, an old hunter, spends his days in the forest, tracking deer and setting and checking traps. While he is away, his wife prepares food and washes clothes. Both observe religious rituals and remember their son, who was killed trying to cross the border to the United States. A contemplative portrait of a life that is slowly fading into darkness.
