In 2021, EIFF Talent Lab will continue to successfully connect up-and-coming filmmakers with the world’s key film industry players.
This year, for the Lab's 10th edition, 24 Scottish, UK and international screenwriters, directors and producers will each receive the invaluable opportunity to connect with - and learn from - industry experts in a relaxed and informal environment. As the Lab enters its second decade, and for the first time in its history, this year’s programme will take place entirely online
EIFF TALENT LAB 2021 CALL FOR APPLICATIONS IS NOW OPEN
Since we started the lab in 2011, we have welcomed 275 writers, directors and producers along to the festival. This year will be like no other. Though the lab will take place virtually in its entirety, the opportunities to connect with industry professionals and peers will remain as the solid foundation of the programme.
At the centre of the EIFF Talent Lab is an invaluable afternoon of bespoke 1-2-1 advice and information sessions with experienced industry insiders, all with the aim of honing skills and building confidence within a new generation of filmmakers.
EIFF invites Scottish, UK and international directors, producers and screenwriters to apply for this unique chance to discuss their projects and ideas with a selection of invited industry professionals including sales agents, executive producers, literary agents, story editors and financiers.
