Part of the Film Fest on the Forth Strand

Brave is a grand adventure full of heart, humour and memorable characters set in the wilds of mythical Scotland. The brave and free-spirited Merida (Kelly Macdonald), a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson), defies an age-old custom and inadvertently unleashes chaos on the kingdom, forcing her to discover the meaning of true courage before it's too late. Brave is a delight for family audiences, offering a beautifully animated fantasy fairytale with added hilarious twists, turns and barrels of Scottish charm.

Recommended by our EIFF Youth team as essential viewing for 15-25 years old.

Seating at Film Fest on the Forth is done by socially distanced pods. When booking please select a pod that is relevant to your party size - you can choose either deck chairs or picnic-style seating on the ground. There must be an adult in each pod with children. Sometimes there may not be pods left that fit your party size, we're sorry for the disappointment!
