Eaten by Lions

A wonderfully oddball, heart-warming and off-kilter comedy drama. After losing their beloved Gran, half-brothers Omar (Antonio Aakeel) and Pete (Jack Carroll) embark on a journey to find Omar’s real father. When they come face-to-face with the eccentric Choudray family, the film heads off on an often hilarious take on modern multicultural Britain. Brilliantly tackling old-fashioned stereotypes, the film features some real standout performances, with supporting turns by Asim Chaudhry and Johnny Vegas that are especially funny.
