In association with Skillset, EIFF presents a showcase of work from the UK’s seven Skillset Screen Academies, featuring the work of our 2009 Trailblazers. Trailblazers are our choice of new UK filmmaking talent, selected from the EIFF feature programme and from the Screen Academies’ graduating classes. Look out for the Trailblazers brochure to find out all about them. Documentary, fiction and animation shorts are eligible for this programme, forming a diverse picture of the nation’s up-and-coming film culture.
