Gerard Johnson
Gerard Johnson was born in 1973 in London. He entered the film industry as a commercials runner and found regular work at a post production company. It was here he was able to make short films completely independently. This included Mug (2004), which won the Big Issue Film Festival. On the strength of the first cut of his next short Tony, Paul Abbott (Shameless, State of Play) and the UK Film Council co-funded his feature film debut.
