The McLaren Award for British Animation was named in honour of one of Scotland’s most celebrated filmmakers, Norman McLaren. The prize has now reached its twentieth year. This first programme of short films is an inspiring mix spanning everything from growing pains to the bizarre relationship of two elderly gentlemen passing a quiet afternoon. Each film has its own original aesthetic, passion and vision, representing outstanding achievement in animation. Not suitable for children.
