Adam Elliot

Born in 1972, Adam Elliot was raised in the Australian Outback on a prawn farm. In 1996 he decided to study animation at The Victorian College of the Arts, where he made his first film, Uncle. After graduating in 1997, he went on to complete the other two parts of his trilogy, Cousin and Brother. In 2003, he directed Harvie Krumpet, which was included in the Annecy International Animation Festival’s Top 100 animated films of all time, winning the Oscar® for Best Animated Short Film in 2004.

    I really loved this film - great laughs, touching story and wonderful animation.

    A beautiful film that is full of humour, great characterisation and a storyline that keeps you guessing to the end. Recommended.
