Jamie Blanks

Jamie Blanks graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts Film & Television School in 1993. His film for the course – Silent Number – caught the attention of a Hollywood talent scout and he was signed by a major agency and management company. At the age of 26, he directed his first feature Urban Legend (1998), starring Jared Leto and Tara Reid. He went on to direct Valentine (2001) and the recently completed work Storm Warning (2007), which won awards for Best Score and Best Special Effects at Hollywood Scream Fest 2007.

Oh dear. To compare this to Wolf Creek is a travesty. It's a terrible film and you have to wonder what Jim Caviezel is doing with his career these days. The film is more funny than anything, and a dead killer sea cow that creeps along at the rate of twenty feet per night is hardly scary.
