Peter Strickland
Peter Strickland was born in Reading in 1973. He adapted and directed Kafka’s Metamorphosis for amateur theatre in 1992. Since then, he has made several Super 8 and 16mm short films, most notably Bubblegum (1996), which screened at both Berlin and EIFF. Katalin Varga, his first feature film, was made entirely independently over a four-year period. He now lives in Hungary where he teaches English.
