An enigmatic exposé of a young woman’s battle with a dark family secret.

Nathalie (a wonderfully assured performance by Anaïs Demoustier), newcomer to a small village, initially seems at home in the lush French countryside. However, as her bizarre lies begin to mount, it becomes clear she is wrestling with a terrible inner demon that threatens to overcome her. Sumptuous photography and a dark, disturbing narrative lend proceedings a wonderfully eerie tone in this compelling debut feature.
