A Kind of Seeing: A Scottish Screen Archive Event

  • 120 mins

Celebrate Scottish documentary on the big screen with a unique evening of archive film.

Janet McBain of the Scottish Screen Archive presents a tour through Scotland’s rich heritage of beautifully crafted documentaries about the landscapes, cities and lives of ordinary people. The programme features pioneering films such as Margaret Tait’s Rose Street (1956) and Edinburgh on Parade (1970) by Mark Littlewood (co-recipient, 2008 BAFTA Outstanding Contribution to Scottish Film).

Meet some of the filmmakers in an open discussion afterwards.
