EIFF Industry Centre
With the exception of film screenings, the majority of Industry & Press events and activities are held in the EIFF Industry Centre, housed in the Traverse Theatre, just across the road from the Filmhouse (to the north of Usher Hall).
Here you’ll find the Registration desk for Press, Industry and Filmmaker Guests, the Industry Events venue and the Press Office.
Open daily from 08:00, here you can access festival updates, free Wi-Fi and great food and drink. Early Doors…Networking Drinks takes place here every evening. There is a range of late evening entertainment here throughout the festival.
You must either have a pass or have been signed in by a passholder or festival partner to be in the Industry Centre.
There are computers for passholders to use in the Bar Café of the Industry Centre. Passholders and guests may use the computers free of charge.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the Industry Centre free of charge.
The Videotheque is located in the Filmhouse Guild Rooms, accessible by the lane at the back of Filmhouse, and offers viewing facilities to see the majority of the films from the Festival programme. It is open to Industry, Press and Filmmaker guest passholders only.
Student passholders may only access the Videotheque if there are booths available.
The Videotheque is open from 09:00 to 21:00 from Thursday 21 to Friday 29 June. Please check with the Videotheque desk for other opening times. Click here for a list of films available to view.
You do not need a ticket to attend Press & Industry screenings. Simply show your pass at the door of the screening.
Public screenings of Festival films and public live events
There are a small number of tickets available for public screenings and events subject to availability. These can be obtained by signing into your EIFF account from 12:00 the day before or from the Industry Ticketing Desk in the Filmhouse Box Office.
There is level access to the box office from the Cambridge Street entrance. There is lift access to the Bar Café and theatres, and accessible toilets on the box office and Bar Café levels. Guide and hearing dogs are welcome.
Please mention when you’re picking up your pass if you will require lift access to the Industry Events venue.
