The Guest Drivers Coordinator supports the Senior Guest Drivers Coordinator in managing the team of Guest Drivers to ensure that all relevant ground transfers for Festival guests are facilitated to a high standard and with maximum efficiency. This involves close communication with all members of the Guest Services Team, as well as liaising with key stakeholders including filmmakers, distributors, sales agents and sponsors. The role requires very close management of schedules that are constantly subject to change and maintenance of strong lines of communication with all relevant parties. Site visits are essential to ensure scheduling and planning are undertaken to the highest standard, together with tracking of air and rail updates. The Guest Drivers Coordinator will be expected to deputise for the Senior Guest Drivers Coordinator as required.
The successful candidate will be a committed and highly organised individual who works quickly, consistently and reliably in pressured situations. An efficient communicator with good problem solving skills, a methodical approach and the willingness to work unsociable hours is essential. A calm, friendly individual, able to cope with late nights and early mornings. Working with the Guest Services, Industry and Press teams, and often at red carpet events, this role can be intense, pressured and high profile.
