Film In The Old College Quad
The University of Edinburgh, in association with Edinburgh International Film Festival, will be creating an open-air cinema for seven days this month.
From 17 to 23 August the University's Old College Quadrangle will host a varied programme of films in a unique outdoor cinema experience.
The Film In The Old College event will have themed evening screenings as well as family matinees on Sunday 17 and Saturday 24. The film programme will showcase a wide range of films across the week with film fans, families and festival-goers encouraged to come along, bring a picnic, and enjoy classic films on the Old College Quad lawn.
Some of the films to be screened include Ghostbusters, The Breakfast Club, The Big Lebowski, Fargo, Shrek, How To Train Your Dragon, Goldfinger, Skyfall and Restless Natives.
