The Box Office for the 60th EIFF opens at noon on Friday 14 July and the same golden rule applies as for every other festival: book early to avoid disappointment and get the early bird discounts.Inevitably we have events that are hugely popular which will sell out quickly but, as grizzled EIFF vets will tell you, it's best not to make assumptions as to how much demand there will be for any given event. Quite aside from peace of mind, you'll also qualify for our early bird packages. If you purchase tickets on or before 14 August there are a number of ways to save.
If booking through our website you get an instant 50 pence off each full-price ticket. This is the quickest and easiest way of getting the tickets for the event you want!
If booking over the phone or in person the maxim is simple: the more you buy, the more you save. For every three full-price tickets purchased, you get one more at half price; for every six full-price tickets, you get one ticket free; for every ten full-price tickets, get two tickets free.
You can also save money on films from Das Neu Wave and State of Independents, chosen by our Artistic Director Shane Danielsen. Simply purchase six tickets from either of these categories for only £30. That's £5 each!
Winners of EIFF 2014’s short film awards and two of its documentary premieres have been nominated for 2015 BAFTAs.
