We are looking for a highly organised editor with significant experience of writing and proofing.

Fixed term contract, Part time (6 weeks), then Full time (6.2 weeks). £319 per week (pro rata for Part-Time)

The Publications Editor ensures that all festival, and more importantly film-related content is sourced from filmmakers and distributors ready for the variety of Marketing requirements, these include specifications, images and video trailers (and film promotional material). This role is key to the production of the essential Festival communications material, the brochure, the website and the catalogue. The Publications Editor also ensures that all copy for EIFF catalogue, brochure and website meets high standards of readability, clarity and consistency of usage and is ready to go to print by EIFF deadlines.

Successful candidates must have significant experience of writing, editing and proofing for a publication of this calibre, a meticulous attention to detail and strong writing skills. This role also requires an ability to be ruthlessly organised and manage a lot of data simultaneously.
