Development
The Development Department primarily raises sponsorship from the corporate sector, organises Film Festival parties and co-ordinates the needs of sponsors including tickets, branding and corporate hospitality.
For 2008 we are looking to fill the following positions to support the Head of Development:

Looking for a highly organised, team player to support the Events Manager with the preparation for and day-to-day running of EIFF's opening and closing parties, Gala Dinner, Award Ceremonies and many smaller social events.
You need to work well under pressure, anticipate issues and be willing to muck in. Oh and an interest in film is desirable
You'll manage your own portfolio of events, maintain the database and diary for Functions and Events, and advise organisations that would like to host parties regarding EIFF's recommended venues. You will also liaise with other festival departments regarding the delivery of sponsored products and corporate materials for EIFF events.
At least one years experience in event organising is required.
