VOLUNTEERS (All teams)
Volunteer Photographers (4 posts)
This position is being shortlisted or has been filled, and is therefore not open for applications.
2 weeks in June, including the Festival period plus training. 4 full-time posts.
The Festival Photography Team is responsible for taking official photos for the Festival and all of its activities and EIFF are looking for volunteer Photographers to be part of the team. You'll be covering action taking place at all times of the day so availability throughout the Festival is important.
The volunteer posts offer a unique experience of a working event and a demanding photography commission as well as providing source material for any photographer's portfolio. A proven level of expertise and examples of quality photography with a degree of personal flair are essential.
Activities to be photographed are taking place throughout the day from morning to late evening, so availability and flexibility across the Festival dates is helpful in this role.
EIFF maintains all copyright and usage of the imagery but photographers are permitted to use the EIFF imagery for non-commercial self-promotion.
Photographers must have their own kit and be available for festival training on 11 June and briefing on 13 June.
Please include a link to your portfolio or examples of your work (e.g. flickr, tumblr) in your application.
Please see the EIFF Recruitment Policy in the introduction section for further information on EIFF Volunteers.
