Front of House Volunteers (3 posts)
2 weeks in June, including the Festival period plus training. 3 full-time posts.
Part of the Programme Planning team and reporting to the Front of House Liaisons, you'll help with coordinating screenings and events at Cineworld. This varied role includes queue management, crowd control, ticketing, helping with red carpet events, assisting with event production and providing the public with information, sometimes by handing out promotional material. You will be assisting the Front of House Liaisons with running special events as required.
You'll need an ability to think on your feet, diplomacy, confidence when dealing with the public and a friendly, helpful attitude. Previous work experience in cinemas is a bonus.
Daily shifts will take place during public screening hours at Cineworld, usually shifts of 5-7 hours typically taking place between noon and 10pm. During busier times there will be two volunteers, one at box office offering information to the public and assistance during Red Carpet events and one helping by the cinemas with queue management and in-cinema events.
Great customer service skills and enthusiasm for the festival help with this role.
