Red Carpet & Events Crew (5 posts)
2 weeks including the Festival in June and training. 5 posts, part-time most days.
Sounds glamorous? Now we have your attention. This position gets you to the heart of the action at our biggest gala film screenings. You will be required during the day of each red carpet event (including Opening and Closing films) for a full briefing and to prepare the venues. This might include setting up barriers, signage, technical equipment or even hoovering the red carpet itself! You will then support the press team during the red carpet action (guiding guests, ushering photographers etc) before you then move on to the event/party venue where you will work with the Events Team on similar duties to ensure that all EIFF guests have the best possible experience.
Not only that, but this position also gives you lots of free time to enjoy the perks of the festival so it is right for anyone who wants to notch up lots of films!
The schedule and timing of events and training will be confirmed nearer the time but availability throughout the Festival and for training beforehand will be helpful.
