Technical Assistants (6 posts)

A chance to work behind the scenes with the technical team, you will help provide the audio-visual resources for the Festival.

Up to 3 weeks including the Festival period in June plus training, 6 full-time posts.

A chance to work behind the scenes with the technical team, you will help provide the audio-visual resources for the Festival; assisting at Festival events, talks and presentations and/or with the digital transfer of films into a suitable format for projection and quality checking.

An interest in all things technical is essential and some practical experience of audio and visual equipment, and live events, would be an advantage. All necessary training and supervision will however be provided.

Good communication skills will also be helpful as you may be in contact with our busy Industry, Press and Screenings teams and with Festival delegates and guests. You may get to pin a lapel mic to one of your heroes, it has happened!

This work can be physical as the technical team installs equipment in venues all day long.
