VOLUNTEERS (All Departments)
Press & Industry Screenings Assistants (13 posts)
Position filled for 2013.
2 weeks including June Festival period plus training, 13 full-time posts.
To attend at the screenings which are exclusively for our press, industry and filmmaker guest visitors. Early risers best suited for this as the first shift of every day is 8.30 am. You'll welcome and check passes on entry and you may find that when the cinema is full you have to console those who don't get in which is a polite way of saying you may have to diffuse their frustrations. The work is mainly concentrated in the first half of the day with some shifts in the late afternoon and early evenings so you will have lots of time to watch films too.
You will also be available to help with EIFF’s major events during the Festival such as our Opening Night, Closing and other Gala premieres and parties.
Please see the EIFF Recruitment Policy in the introduction section for further information on EIFF Volunteers.
Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF) and Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) are pleased to announce their collaboration on an ambitious retrospective called The History of Iranian Cinema by Its Creators.
