VOLUNTEERS (All Departments)
Industry Events Assistants (8 posts)
Position filled for 2013.
2 weeks covering Festival period in June plus training, 8 full-time posts.
Alongside the public film programme, EIFF runs an industry only programme, which consists of numerous events, seminars and panel discussions which are available to all Festival passholders. The Industry Events Manager needs an enthusiastic, capable team to help prepare, organise and host all these events. Previous events and great customer care experience desirable. A passion for film and filmmakers a must. A great role if you're interested in learning more about filmmaking and the industry behind it.
Part of the Festival's Industry department, this role is based primarily at the EIFF Delegate Centre. Shifts of 4-7 hours are organised around the event programme and usually take place between the hours of 9am and 8pm.
You will also be available to help with EIFF’s major events during the Festival such as our Opening Night, Closing and other Gala premieres and parties.
Please see the EIFF Recruitment Policy in the introduction section for further information on EIFF Volunteers.
