Audience Award Assistants

Position filled for 2009.

2 weeks June plus training, 17 PT posts

Hand out voting slips to the audience in cinemas at Festival screenings, and collect and count them at the end of screenings. This requires you to commit to a maximum 2 x three hour shifts a day anywhere between midday and midnight of the festival fortnight. There will also be two obligatory training sessions in the 10-14 days before the festival. This job will suit you if you're not afraid to interact with the audience or to sometimes make scripted announcements. The work is clearly not vocational but has other advantages. It gives you quite a lot of free time to spend enjoying the perks of the festival.
