Screenings

Screenings is the central hub for the coordination of all Festival screenings and live events. The department is responsible for all the administration relating to the films invited to EIFF; for the construction and maintenance of the Festival's schedule; for the detailed production management of live events; and for the distribution of key information and instructions to venues and other EIFF departments.

The Screenings team liaises with filmmakers, distributors, event participants, cinemas, and other departments to ensure that all the Festival's film screenings and special events run smoothly and successfully.

The Front of House Liaisons play a key role in ensuring that the programmed events and screenings in the Festival's main venues keep to time.

Print Traffic Coordinator

Position filled for 2013.

End April - End July. 1 full-time post.

The Print Traffic Coordinator sees to it that the hundreds of film prints, sourced from all over the world for Festival screenings, do in fact arrive in the right projection booth at the right time, and then move onward in time for their next engagement elsewhere.

Print Traffic Coordinator's Assistant

Position filled for 2013.

Mid May - early July, 1 full-time post.

This person supports the Print Traffic Coordinator in all aspects of the department's work, as well as coordinating and carrying out physical delivery of screening materials during the Festival.
