The Programme Planning Team is responsible for researching and securing films; for planning and scheduling screenings and events; for overseeing the logistical and technical planning required to put films on screen; and for issuing the raw information and operating instructions that other departments such as Technical, Marketing and Front of House need in order to implement all our screenings and events successfully. Programme Planning also handles acquisitions and distribution for the CMI's theatrical and VoD releasing business and for our nationwide touring projects, as well as sales and admin for our Digital Cinema Services business. The Programme Planning Team fulfills core functions across Filmhouse, EIFF, other cinemas, additional CMI businesses, and various special projects.
CMI's year round Programme Manager and two Programme Coordinators are joined for EIFF by two additional Programme Coordinators, a Print Traffic Coordinator and Deputy, Print Viewing Coordinator and Front of House Liaisons.
