Early April - early July

One of the responsibilities of the Guest Services team is to invite and register up to 200 short filmmakers, assisting in their enquiries in the lead-up to the festival. They need help with the administration and organisation of the guests’ travel and accommodation. You can also assist with producing filmmaker accreditations and researching the best way to get a VIP from A to B. During the festival you can help support a team of volunteers on a welcome desk providing first-class customer service for all filmmaker guests. If you enjoy leadership you will like that bit.

Fluency in English is essential for helping this area of the festival and competency in another or other languages is much admired. If you like to be administratively minded, organising things and communicating with people, you will enjoy this.

It is busy and varied, and the perfect opportunity to understand the nitty-gritty of how the Programming, Screenings and Guest departments pull together to bring the EIFF to life in June.
