Registration Industry/Press Placement (two positions available)

Position filled for 2009.

Early April - early July

Based in the Industry Department at EIFF you'll assist the Registration Coodinator with all Press and Industry accreditations. The run up to the Festival requires quite intensive data entry and during the Festival dates, you will be the first point of contact for all visiting passholders through manning the Registration Desks. During the festival a networking and information service is in place for the film industry personnel who visit. This information will be made available by the Registration team.

If you would like to help in this department you will need excellent spoken and written English, as well as being happy to use a computer. If you are naturally an organised person this would be great.  We also need you to have a very good eye for detail. Patience and attention to detail is the name of the game. Within this department you will learn a great deal about the UK Film Industry and more generally, how films are bought and sold for distribution throughout the world.
