Mid April to early July. 1 full-time post. Flexible working will be considered.
The Development Placement assists with the activities of the Development team including liaison with a range of corporate and cultural supporters and sponsors of the Festival, and assisting in the delivery of high profile large scale events. Post holders will gain experience of sponsorship activation, branding and marketing; communication and relationship building; event logistics and delivery and project and time management.
The Development Placement may be of particular interest if you’re considering a career in fundraising, corporate sponsorship, events and stakeholder management and have an interest in marketing, communications and PR.
The role will involve liaison and interaction with EIFF's valued funders, sponsors and partners and will appeal to someone who takes a pride in their organisational and communication skills, has good attention to detail, enjoys being part of a small team and is able to use his/her own initiative. An interest in, and basic understanding of, the principals behind sponsorship, marketing, fundraising, communications and PR (especially why firms sponsor, what they are able to achieve and the benefits it brings to organisations such as EIFF) will also be helpful.
Please download and read the attached description of this Placement for further details before applying.
EIFF Placements are mentored, learning opportunities, providing valuable work experience within a specific team at the Festival. Please see the EIFF Recruitment Policy for further information on EIFF Placements.
