Ensures the Festival’s Student Critics jurors and their mentors are looked after to the highest level and their time is closely managed throughout their visit to Edinburgh.

The EIFF Student Critics Jury enables students to expand their knowledge of contemporary world cinema, develop their ability to evaluate and write about films and give a prestigious award at EIFF. Student jurors are mentored by leading international critics as they see films from various strands of the EIFF programme and complete reading assignments and reviews of films. They also determine the winner of the Student Critic Jury Award, presented at the EIFF Awards Ceremony.

Successful candidates will have strong administrative and organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and ideally experience of working with young people, the film industry and talent-handling. The ability to plan, organise and think on the move is also essential.
