Jury Coordinators ensure the Festival’s visiting jurors are looked after to the highest level and their time is closely managed throughout their visit to Edinburgh.
The Festival invites various juries to Edinburgh to adjudicate Awards including the Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature Film, the Award for Best International Film, the Best Documentary Award and various Short Film Awards. Juries usually comprise three people and each Jury has its own Coordinator to manage and assist them during their visit to Edinburgh. Juries usually stay in Edinburgh for the first few days of the festival only, and the start date of the job reflects a 1-week planning period.
Successful candidates will have strong communication and customer services skills on top of administrative and organisational skills. The ability to work under pressure and socialise appropriately are essential. Experience of the film industry and talent-handling desirable. The ability to plan, organise and think on the move is also essential. Ideally you will also be an experienced driver, and aged over 25 years for insurance purposes.
