Guest Drivers' Coordinator
Early June to early July. 1 full-time post.
The Guest Drivers' Coordinator ensure the Festival’s car fleet is deployed effectively, making sure all relevant guest interaction is facilitated to a high standard and with maximum efficiency and servicing the needs of key stakeholders including film distributors.
A film industry professional required here because knowledge and understanding of personnel in the distribution and publicity areas of the industry is essential. Equally essential is the ability to rota (minimum eight drivers), respond to endless and constantly changing requests for pick-ups and drop-offs and to remain calm under pressure and polite at all times. People management, communication skills and problem solving skills are required. Willingness to work late nights and early mornings is essential.
