Position filled for 2009.

1 to 2 days a week from the beginning of Jan and full time for the Festival.

Primarily recruiting and coordinating over 150 volunteers. Possibly also helping with the administration of various festival projects.

You need to be a people person making good relationships with the many and varied people who apply to the festival to work and volunteer. You'll need to inspire confidence and a sense of belonging in the volunteers. You will also need to be very organised due to the high volume of recrutiment you will do and the hundreds of applications you will process.  You must have previous experience in admin and ideally in an event environment.
