Industry Events Assistant

The Industry Events Internship will give you a head start on building your knowledge of coordinating events focussed on the key topics and emerging talent of the UK film Industry. It may be of particular interest if you’re considering a career in film producing or in film festival administration, or if you are interested in a future career within one of film’s main business areas such as production, sales or distribution.

Fixed term paid internship. Part-time (21hrs) for 2 weeks, Full-time (35hrs) for 5.2 weeks. £274 per week (pro-rata for part-time)

The Industry Events Assistant will support the delivery of all industry and talent development events that run throughout the Festival. Working in a small team, you will help to produce information and schedules for all participating filmmakers and guests and will assist with the coordination of events.

During the Festival (June 20 – July 01) you will engage directly with accredited passholders and guests who are attending or taking part in events. You will be an information point for all talent programme participants and a friendly face during their time at the Festival. You will be present at events to help ensure smooth delivery.
