Amy Rose is a director and cinematographer based in Edinburgh and London, working in both documentary and fiction. She makes character-driven films that seek to tell stories with visual clarity
and emotional depth – but with subtlety rather than a spade.

Kirran and the Hatchmaker is her first year film from the MFA in Film Directing at Screen Academy Scotland at Edinburgh College of Art (eca); she is now in the second year. Amy also works as a documentary cinematographer and currently is shooting two feature length films in Britain and
Nigeria for major broadcasters in Europe.
