After graduating with a BA Hons Degree in Drama and Theology, Tony began his career as a trainee camera assistant on Mike Leigh’s Nakedunder cinematographer Dick Pope B.S.C.

Having worked his way up through the camera department he was given his break as a Director of Photography on the first series of Shameless. He was instrumental in defining the look of this
multi-award winning series, for which he received an RTS nomination.

He has subsequently gone on to shoot a diverse range of projects for television including Spooks and the controversial and cinematic Clapham Junction for Adrian Shergold.

Summer is Tony’s second feature collaboration with Director Kenny Glenaan, the first being the award
winning Yasmin. Tony is represented by Lynda Mamy at United Agents.
